Norman G.2025-07-13Verified The food was excellent. I had the chow mein and my wife had the Cajun pasta. My wife loved her pasta and I loved the chow mein. Flavor was on point. I didn't need soy sauce or anything. The service was awesome because they keep checking on you and the ambiance is classy sports bar. Sudip G.2025-07-13Verified My favorite spot in Berkeley with the perfect Himayan ambiance. Awesome drinks and foods with the taste of Himalayas. Very attentive and friendly welcoming hosts always made sure everyone had a great time. "THE TIPSY YETI"!!!!!! John W.2025-07-12Verified If you're craving authentic Nepalese flavors with a modern twist, Tipsy Yeti is the place to be! I had the momo and duck choila -- and let me just say, WOW. The momo were perfectly steamed with a delicate outer skin and a juicy, flavorful filling that melted in my mouth. Paired with their signature dipping sauce, it was an explosion of taste that took me straight to the streets of Kathmandu. Now the duck choila? Absolutely mind-blowing. Smoky, tender, and spiced to perfection -- it had the perfect balance of heat and depth. Each bite had layers of flavor that lingered in the best way possible. It's not just food; it's an experience. To top it off, the staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. From the moment we walked in, they made us feel like family. Attentive without being overbearing, friendly without being scripted -- genuine hospitality at its finest. Whether you're a first-timer or a regular, Tipsy Yeti never disappoints. Highly recommend this hidden gem for anyone looking to indulge in bold flavors and heartwarming service! Ion N.2025-07-09Verified Fantastic food, like uber flavorful! Good beer selection. Clean restrooms. Small but nice backyard seating. Nice BIG SCREEN t.v's. Service is friendly, but we sat at the bar to enjoy a beer and lunch, the bartender was super cool, so not sure how the Server staff is like. He happily took the time to answer questions about menu items. We were there for Happy Hour, and the prices weren't too bad. Yes I recommend this establishment. I'm for sure coming back!! Also good for groups and kids. Lisa H.2025-07-09Verified We had a fantastic dinner last night with a friend visiting from Boston and we were all impressed by the diverse menu and options. we started with the Tipsy Fries and artichoke appetizers and shared our main dishes. Everything was super fresh and tasty and our server couldn't have been more helpful. This is a great addition to the neighborhood restaurants and we can't wait to go back to try more authentic Nepalese dishes. Lien Z.2025-07-07Verified Came here with the fam to try Nepalese food. It did not disappoint. Had the tipsy fries, fried calamari, chicken chili, Himalayan mo-mo, chow mein, duck choila, mustang chicken and if you have a kid that's a picky eater pepperoni pizza. All very delicious dishes. Would highly recommend!!!! Stephanie T.2025-07-06Verified This was my first time trying food from Nepal, and I'm so glad I chose Tipsy Yeti for it! Tipsy Yeti is divided into two, with one side of the restaurant having a bar and the other having regular dining tables for family dining. They also have a patio in the back if you want to dine outside instead. We didn't eat out there, but it looks like a perfect spot for karaoke and delicious Nepali food. While the restaurant looks modern, they have a beautiful Nepali design on top of their bar that looks very intricately made. My party and I got Rubina as our server. I absolutely loved her service! She was so attentive and respectful of the differences in my parties' eating preferences. My partner eats gamier meat, so she recommended the goat curry to him, and since I don't do well with spicy food, she recommended their milder dishes. My favorite dishes were their tipsy fries and the momo dumplings. It's marinated in Nepali seasonings and fried to be beautifully crisp without losing the fluffy texture of the potatoes. Rubina suggested that we get the momos with the chicken filling in the sizzled form. They also have the momos steamed or fried, but the sauce that the sizzler momos came in was so flavorful! They were generous with the fillings inside the dumpling, and I really loved eating the bell peppers and onions on the hot plate. My partner and I came here with our friend who we shared their duck choila with. The duck was cooked so well! It was tender, not overcooked, and super easy to eat. The Nepali seasonings took me a bit to get used to since it was my first time having these flavors, but I really appreciated how well-cooked all the different proteins were. We also had their matina mocktail, which was so refreshing! The matina was a 10/10! There's another side of Tipsy Yeti's menu that has more comfort foods like pizza, burgers, and pasta. I'm looking forward to trying those on my next visit (and hopefully with Rubina as my server!!), but I wanted a deep dive into Nepali food for my first time here. I'm eyeing their Himalayan pizza to have a fusion of the food I'm used to eating and delicious Nepali flavors! Eric V.2025-07-04Verified A friend recommended this place and it was worth trying! My wife and I ordered 7 dishes. They were all delicious. Each plate was flavorful and spicy. But our favorite was the Himalayan pizza! Cheesy and love the curry flavor. We will definitely come back to try more entrees! Kelly S.2025-07-04Verified Highly recommend! The food and the service were amazing! It was my first time trying and definitely not the last. I can't wait to go back for the Himalayan pizza. Def my top pizza on the list.Load more
